Or that she wasn't in party leadership at the time of those briefings. The fact that 30% in this poll shows previous grievances with her and would prefer to buy the right wing talking points than to seek what really happened.

14. Tough choice...to a point.
In her place I would have bitten the bullet and revealed the torture. My crime, and resulting punishment, would be less important to me than the crime revealed.

The only accusations against Pelosi come from sources within or have been compromised by the Bush Regime. These people literally lie with every breath they take and they're trying to justify their crimes by implicating members of the Democratic leadership.

8. If she wasn't truthful, she wouldn't have mentioned that the minutes
of that meeting are available, unclassifed, and able to be viewed.

I think she's being truthful despite the gop's best efforts to convince everyone she isn't. Seems it's working, too.

What is happening is that Cheney and his cabal are trying to distract, delay and diffuse from their accountability for torture. If they can get us caught up in this even for a news cycle, they win that one.
