Chargnng for radio now?????
Malloy is ptomoting paying to podcast his shows and Bill Elliott just said he is going to be charging fot his shows. Do you see this happening? I might pay $20/mo for several of my favorites, but I can't and won't pay that much for each one!

3. Spelling and counting?
Chargnng (1) for radio now?????

Malloy is ptomoting (2) paying to podcast his shows and Bill Elliott just said he is going to be charging fot (3) his shows. Do you see this happening? I might pay $20/mo for several of my favorites, but I can't and won't pay that much for each one!

DU has a spell-checking feature. Most current browsers also spell-check. Please use one or the other, it's just lazy and disrespectful to the reader to expect them to interpret such sloppy typing.

6. "Chargnng, ptomoting, fot"
Proofreading a post shouldn't be that much of a challenge, especially when there is a built in spell checker.

We all overlook spelling errors all the time, but spelling that bad in such a short post is a sign that you're just getting lazy. If you can't take the moment to read your own post or hit the spellcheck button then was it really worth posting?

8. You obviously haven't visited rushlimbaugh.com then...
It's all about additional revenue streams for their respective shows.

Malloy's shows are still archived at whiterosesociety.org but there will be a delay when they are made available, so the paid subscribers get their moneys worth. The paid podcasts AFAIK are commercial free...

Malloy is more pricier than the Pig Man though, but not by that much. However unlike Mr. Oxycontin, Mike does not have a major company behind him paying him $millions. He *needs* this additional revenue stream.

Mark.

9. Geez, what a horrible thought-- actually paying for something...
I guess Malloy should dip into his huge wallet and send you a few bucks for the rent, too. Next, HBO will not only be free, but they'll send you free DVD's.

Somebody's gotta pay for this stuff, and it might as well be the listeners. NPR and PBS figured this out long ago, and have been selling CD's, tapes, and DVD's for years. Two of my favorite NPR shows let you get the podcast on the same day, but you have to pay after that. Some shows have no podcast at all. Commercial channels are late to the party finding out how much they can make selling DVD's of Seinfeld or the Sopranos.
