5. I like 1-800-FLOWERS myself
I have been using them for over 5 years now. I have sent many arrangements in that time. I always get good feedback from everyone I send them to. I have received many flower arrangements from different companies. I received some tulips from FTD. They were sitting in a box on my doorstep for several hours, before I arrived home. It was August so it was quite hot. I tried to take care of them, but they had been damaged so they didn't last quite as long as they should have.

3. I've been using FTD for years...
They have never failed. Decent prices on-time delivery, good selection, I'm starting to sound like a commercial. I don't work for them I just like to send flowers. www.ftd.com

4. Search online for a florist near the destination.
I've always had good luck doing that and you don't pay the service charge that FTD or other middle persons charge.
