I like Nancy Pelosi!

I never have really understood why so many people dislike and even hate her. She's far from perfect but who isn't? I haven't agreed with every stance she has taken, but all 'n all I think she has held her own. She's got people in the Democratic Party pulling at her on both ends, those on one side of the Democratic Party saying she should do this and those on the other side of the Democratic Party saying she should do that, all the time having to deal with the repukes whose only goal is to bring her down.

For those who agree with me maybe a little K & R for Nancy Pelosi is in order, and for those who disagree with me I'm sure you'll let me know why! ;)

And she should use this attack on her as the perfect opportunity to call their bluff and demand an investigation. HER reputation has been impugned now. She has every right to move forward and then we get to the bottom of the whole thing.

What do I win?

Woah. "Far from perfect" is leaving your dirty socks on the floor, finishing the ice cream when nobody is looked, or maybe even cheating on a spouse if you want to go there.

Knowing about ongoing war crimes being committed and keeping quiet about it is not on the same level as "really, don't we all have our flaws?"

She wants to get to the truth, which gives the bad guys the vapors.

she's not perfect, but I am on her side, and I think she is on my side

just let President Obama implement his agenda.

She should not be a distraction.

That's just my view.

EDIT:

I don't mean to suggest I don't like her, I just feel she is drawing unnecessary attention away from important things that Obama wishes to accomplish.

i can't see how not going ahead with impeachment of Bush can still make a democratic member angry and still hate her now. right now things can get done if there are no internal wars. she is the least of our worries.

I think some people just can't accept a strong woman like her in a position of such power.

What has she done in two and a half years as House Speaker?

All she cares about is her position within the Beltway and her hair.

We need a real leader.
