Happy Bike to Work Day Everybody!
Except of course those folks who think their personal convenience is more important than saving the freaking planet.

27. Where was it winter in the US yesterday?
I checked the weather map.

It was in the 60s throughout most of the country.

I swear people will come up with the most bullshit excuses to not do the right thing

10. well, when you live 17 miles from work..
and have a large military base situated between your home and place of work, it makes it kinda difficult, you know, personal convenience aside.

sincerely, avid cyclist.

12. And when you choose how far away from work you live . . .
Besides, most avid cyclists think 17 miles is barely a warm-up

15. I'm not an avid cyclist.
And that's about how far my commute is too.

I have the job I do because they were the only ones to hire me after about 15 interviews. I am lucky to be employed at my company now for seven years, despite the fact that we filed for bankruptcy.

I think it's a great cause if you can do it. But sometimes it's not possible.

20. Fact is there's nothing out there you can't do
Even Santa Claus believes in you.

Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem said it.

I believe it.

That settles it.

You just have to try.

16. yes..
we should all be so fortunate to live near work. sadly, in the real world, it doesn't always work that way. and i would LOVE to take my Trance along the trails here at MCAS Miramar. unfortunately, the marines don't like when you XC on their property. and because i can't, that effectively turns my commute to about 30 miles, one-way.

We got an actual, honest-to-goodness spring day here in Stumptown, so my 12+ mile jaunt home should be highly pleasant.
