This is ridiculous. We are a nation and not just a collection of local governments that happen to be near each other. We did not won WWII as such and we will not succeed in the 21st century that way, either. And, to the extent that it is former Confederate states that are pressing this nonsense, I would like to refer them to the results of the Civil War. Your side surrendered -- unconditionally.
