OH man calls 911 over messy room argument with son
BEDFORD, Ohio -- An Ohio man who argued with his grown son over a messy bedroom said he overreacted when he called 911. Andrew Mizsak called authorities Thursday after his 28-year-old son - who's a school board member in the Cleveland suburb of Bedford - threw a plate of food across the kitchen table and made a fist at him when told to clean his room.

The son, also named Andrew, lives in a room in his parents' basement.

The father declined to press charges and told police he doesn't want to ruin his son's political career.

The son, who also works as a political consultant, said he's lucky to be living in the house rent free. He also promises to keep his room clean.

Yup we grow 'em good here!

So much for that stereotype.

11. So he doesn't make his own kid take care of himself.
And he wants the local govt. to do his parenting for him.

Does anybody in that house take responsibility for their own life?

Welcome to the multi-generational nanny state.

12. i see this all the time
people calling cops to be surrogate parents.

it's one thing to call the cops when your kid is out of control, but some parents call police when their kid REFUSES TO GO TO SCHOOL and crap like that.

our dispatchers won't send us to those calls, but they get a fair amount of that stuff.

13. About a month ago
A woman here in Pittsburgh called the police because she got into an arguement with her grown son because his dog peed on the floor. Three of the cops who responded were shot and killed by the son.

14. Does he also promise to wear clean underwear?
And wash behind his ears?

Sadly embarrassing for all involved, I think.

15. Around here,
the cops are only called after a son has murdered his parents, or a father has murdered a son.

That's the American way, dammit.

These wusses calling because a grown man won't clean his room?

Commies................
