No seriously GEM$NBC will be discussing Cheney's address
with his fugging daughter. Now that's a higher level of objective journalism.
I've had it with these media hacks.

If GEM$NBC shows split screens while the President is speaking to acccomodate Cheney we must give them hell - block up their mail boxes DUers.

2. Tweety describes it as a debate
The fucking debated ended on election night. FU Tweety!

Obama will be on at 10.10 and Cheney at 10.45

4. And we suddenly have a plot to blow up Jewish synagogues
in New York. The timing is too good to be true.
We are going back in the worst way possible.

5. Churning The Shit...
I know people here are out of sorts with the constant barage of the cheneys and the corporate media drumbeat about the torture issue, but better to have it talked about...even in such an absurd and frustrating framing than not at all.

Each time a cheney opens their piehole, they throw out yet another reason to investigate their war crimes and words that can (and should) be used to hang them.

This story has "legs" since there are revelations starting to come to light to back up our worst suspicions (and beyond) and the Mighty Wurlitzer, or what's left of it, needs to keep playing to drown out all the damning evidence. The corporate media plays along cause this has become a highly partisan game that gives their talking heads lots of hours to fill.

You're not seeing journalism on our cables...that requires time to reflect and clearly analyize. The teevee needs instant gratification. I'm hoping they have a Schuester or even Nora O'Donell interviewing with toxic Lizzie...make her sweat a little.

6. Cheney's speech will give away the talking points. He's stupid
to do it at all. He's much more effective, if you can call it that, behind the scenes.

7. So what's his reasoning, saving his legacy or saving his ass?
I know you don't know, but it's got to be one or the other.

8. Tainting the jury pool.
If he's ever charged with his crimes, it will be painted as a political witch hunt. :eyes:

9. Ahhh. That sounds logical, but facts don't lie.
If his complicity ever comes out, regardless of what people think of him, the truth will skewer him.

13. I don't think it's about legacy because the bastard thinks he's going to live forever.
If I had to guess, I'd say the torture issue is hitting him in the wallet somehow and he needs it to go away. That's all he seems to care about.

15. The Rats Have Jumped The Ship...
I'm sure he'd love to have his sockpuppets do the spinning, but they are few these days. My bet are crashcart doesn't think the Ron Christies and even Roves are doing the job. But he still can intimidate and manipulate the corporate media and they all fall over each other to let him spew yet more incriminating evidence of his war crimes.

Ya wanna bet he spends his days in his hidey hole fuming...a bitter, frustrated old man whose meglomania still isn't satisfied.

:hi:

18. Dick Cheney's judgement is so terrible, he chose RUMSFELD
to run his war. He should just go away while he still has his freedom.

Fuck GEM$NBC - I refuse to watch their stupid Cheney quotes. The President is speaking not that war criminal with the popularity ratings of a serial killer.

19. She should not be used as a commentator.
But this assumes the media have any sense of ethics and objectivity.

That's why I was so glad to hear Katrina Vanden Heuvel shut her down so effectively on This Week this past Sunday. If Daddy can't carry his own water, that's his problem.
