1. I watched it a couple of weeks ago,
and was stunned. Wasn't it brilliant? Sean Penn became Harvey Milk, and the supporting cast was perfect. The writer deserved the Oscar for Best Screenplay. Boy, did he ever!

I was living in San Francisco when all that happened, and the movie perfectly captured the time, right down to the horror of those murders. Josh Brolin was equally wonderful, too, as that bastard Dan White.

It's a classic ...................

3. Riots that were the result of his killer getting a very week sentance were 30 years ago yesterday
