I just turned it to the game (after game) and they replayed the shot.

It was a shot that we all dream of making (how many times as a kid did you pretend you made that last second shot that won the game).

The Magic went up 2 with one second left, and Lebron James took the inbounds pass and hit a 3-pointer falling away to give Cleveland the win. It was an impressive shot, if you're into that kind of thing :)

What you are saying is that Orlando should have just gone ahead and conceded two points just so that Lebron James would not have hit a 3. That does not make sense. :shrug:

DH had just told me that there was only one second left, no way his team could win. So while he was in the kitchen, I switched programs. NO, he said, when he got back in, he STILL wanted to see the end!

So I turned back to the game, just as it started up again. So he got to see that shot, and the replay.

And now he's upstairs watching on another TV set, and for all I know he's watching that shot again.

and wailing into the couch cushions.

When it was down to one second on the clock with the Magic ahead, I couldn't stand to watch the last tick of defeat, so I turned off the TV.

49. The Celts/Magic series was interesting because I am a JJ Redick fan -

and there he was on the opposing squad! He did play great defense on Allen - I hope it leads to more playing time for him in the future. He was quite incredible at Duke (and hated by many!)
