Olbermann said he would do it if Limbaugh agreed to stop talking about himself during this time. Limbaugh said the response was "incoherent."

Has anyone ever explained to that fat fuck that the reason Olbermann and others talk about him so much is that he says the most horrible things and represent the worst of our nation?

Al Franken proved that it's good business to stand up to the wingnuts. It made him a best selling author, syndicated radio personality and now Senator of Minnesota. I don't think he has any regrets. KO swats down the hate spewers (sometime to obsession), but he knows that his audience eats it up...why ratings have gone up for him. When it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It's the one from the CPAC speech where Rushbo was bouncing around at the podium for reasons known to no one. Keith loves to replay this video because Rush apparently is embarrassed at it now that he knows what he looked like. He has repeatedly said that Rush should have known what KO knows, which is that if you are a hefty man such as they both are, you should not bounce yourself around on purpose in public.

Rush has an obligation to the Party to respond to Olbermann. Everything changes once the lying starts. It just took a while for the lies to catch up to the party Rush leads.
The Republican Party leadership welcomes Rush as their public voice and face as it deflects attention from their own lying on the record. Their lies are on the record and Rush provides cover for slugs like House minority leader John Boner and the Kentucky slime ball McConnell in the Senate.

...he attempts to manipulate the discourse to suit his ends. In this case, he's basically telling everyone else to let him say whatever he wants to on his talk show, and not to respond to it. This of course is a wet dream for him, since opposing viewpoints -- especially these days, when we actually hear some of them -- quickly put the lie to so much of what he says, not to mention exposing him for the cowardly bully-boy that he is.

So the proper response to his request is to simply ignore it and continue commenting on, and exposing his ridiculous statements and cartoonish actions (such as his infamous on-air imitation of Michael J. Fox).

Frankly, I don't think they comment enough on him. I'd like to see more of our media people commenting on his junkie pedophile tendencies -- the fact that he had his maid score drugs for him in a parking lot, and yet never saw any jail time; or the fact that he returned from the Dominican Republic with a large bottle of Viagra whose prescription was written for someone else.
