Front page article Cape Cod Times- "Women kick off -Queer Summer"

--------
PROVINCETOWN — Now come the young gay women in half-turned baseball caps, coolers filled with cheap beer, shorts slung low on their hips and a kind of swagger that comes with a very cool pair of aviator sunglasses and an excellent wallet chain.

They are the women wearing eyeliner and carrying a backpack; or the women hoisting a 12-pack of Budweiser over their shoulders, holding hands with a deeply tanned girlfriend. They are the girls holding bathing towels and plastic baseball bats, heading toward the beach.

With an approximate age range of 18 to 24, they are mostly in college, just out of college or in the military.

No one officially advertises for these young women to come to Provincetown over Memorial Day weekend. There are some announcements on social networking sites on the Internet and through gay, lesbian and transgender groups on college campuses, says Girl Power Events producer Lynette Molnar of Provincetown. And the exact count of how many come on Memorial Day weekend is unknown, says Provincetown Tourism Director Robert Sanborn.

This is seriously front page news in my local newspaper.

1. Ahh P-town...
My girlfriend took me there for a week stay... so that I could understand her life experiences better.

It was fun... and interesting.

4. yup it is awesome.
I love it here. Live in Truro. The diversity is equally as beautiful as the geography. I'm just angry that single payer isn't front page news, Or that
torture isn't front page news. But that the substandard times is going to try and create controversy over Tyke Dyke weekend. They suck
