As you go about celebrating Memorial Day,

please take time out to remember and honor our veterans and the sacrifices they've made. And as you enjoy that picnic or BBQ, please remember that one out of every 3 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight is a veteran.

The horrors of war. I'm really glad to hear President Obama reiterate that he will never put our soldiers in harm's way unless absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, he is still trying to clean up the Bush mess in that respect with Iraq and Afghanistan. We remember them because they are our brothers, sons, fathers, husbands, nephews, uncles and cousins.
