1. That's beautiful. Thanks.
I recently saw her in a doc called Berkeley in the 60s She was singing on Sproul Plaza during the Free Speech Movement and looked about 13. lol

Btw, today Amy is devoting her hour to rerunning Winter Soldier on the Hill. Here's the CSPAN link -- Amy's isn't up yet.

2. I met her, briefly, at an anti-war demo in L.A.
Somewhere around 1970. Nothing of substance, I think I was just stammering like a love-struck schoolboy.

Sgt Mackenzie

English Translation, from Scot

Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

When they come I will stand my ground
Stand my ground I'll not be afraid

Thoughts of home take away my fear
Sweat and blood hide my veil of tears

Once a year say a prayer for me
Close your eyes and remember me

Never more shall I see the sun
For I fell to a Germans gun

Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Where before many more have gone
