Zoo Officials Serve Poison Instead of Syrup in Sno-Cones (Kansas)
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,523340,00.html

The Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, Kan., will no longer be selling blue sno-cones after a dangerous mix-up at the refreshment stand, Fox4KC reported.

Four people became sick Thursday when a zoo employee accidentally poured a degreasing agent into the sno-cone machine instead of the flavored syrup.

The two bottles are the same size, shape and color and were accidentally placed next to each other.

A zoo spokeswoman said the employee didn't read the labels and apologized to families who got sick.

3. I had a high school friend who worked at Dunkin Donuts. She dipped the donuts in detergent.
They had the dishwasher detergent in the same kind of container as the powdered sugar, she fried and dipped the donuts in the sugar/detergent and sold them.

Turns out that according to labor law, minors (she was 16) are not allowed to work in the back to cook the donuts. It was considered hazardous work. She was fired and the shop was closed down for a week.

I wonder how old the zoo employee who did this was?

5. How much degreasing agent do they need at the sno-cone stand?
They really need better labeling and storage for their poisonous substances.
