The elephant in the global room.. North Korea!
I understand that Robert Gates, this morning,
has been speaking about North Korea.

NK's rejection of the armistice agreement
apparently means open hostility, and there
is the possibility that the USA is now
preparing for war.

Now then.. this would mean real war. NK
has nukes and a million man army.

Can we say d r a f t? Do we dare?

1. If Clinton can pull it off
And no doubt she is able to...China can squash NK in a heartbeat. Just by a look.

2. Our Army and Marine Corps are otherwise engaged..
We will have to take a rain check.

The Air Force and Navy are relatively unscathed at the moment but Korea will be a land war if it comes to that.

4. There would have to be a draft.
And I agree that the USA is in no position
to mount a war on that scale...

... it would be truly insane.

But I haven't seen much sanity operating
in government lately.....

5. We literally do not have the materiel..
Our Army and Marine Corp's equipment is worn out and in dire need of replacement or rebuilding, there are literally thousands of acres of junked military gear in depots around the country such as at Aniston AL.
