Why is the death of a satanic worshipper tragic?

Why would an abortionist go to church?

Whatever “church” Tiller attends must be worshipping satan.

Tiller killed over 350000 babies since 1969.
This is comparable with a major Nazi concentration camp in WW2.

This is just a few of over 500 responses. Disgusting.

1. Unfortunately it's not surprising
Unfortunately the depths to which the morans over at FreeperLand would sink to in responding to Doctor Tillman's murder is not surprising.

2. "350000 babies since 1969"? Don't think so.
Edited on Sun May-31-09 01:08 PM by Canuckistanian
That would be 24 abortions/day, assuming NO holidays, time off, etc. since 1969.

Also, Roe v. Wade only became effective in 1973.

but I forgot about weekends and holidays. :dunce:

I think abortion may have been legal in some states before 1973.

10. But usually the rational ones outnumber them.
There are always those who take the opportunity to vent when someone they loathe dies, but I think most at DU have at least expressed compassion for the families of the deceased, whoever it was.

6. "May he rot in hell" just won't work.

There's no room left. Hell is booked up to capacity with the expected arrivals
of all the BushCo liars, murderers and all their other assorted RW criminals.

7. the metaphor is wrong too
you "burn" in hell. You 'rot' in the ground if there is no afterlife.

Does that FReeper 'swear there aint no heaven and pray there aint no hell"?

8. some of them are not celebrating
"Most of the Sunday talking head shows were pre-recorded. Tomorrow they’ll beat this and us to death. Go to DU for a preview."

"Killing Tiller was not only murder, it was stupid and counter-productive. Once again, all abortion opponents will be branded by the MSM as murderers and religious fanatics."

"I have prayed outside of Tiller's....however...this isn't what I would pray for. An attack in a church in front of women and children, no matter how guilty in the eyes of the world, is inexcusable. I consider myself anti-abortion, not pro-life, Tiller was guilty in my mind of many murders. This will make many who believe in the power of peaceful prayer...murder suspects."

and some have put on their :tinfoilhat:

"Welcome the fairness doctrine."

"It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the killer turned out to be some militant pro-abortion lunatic who did this to get the exact result that we all know will happen."
