I know this has probably been mentioned
but it's important to note the "crusade" Bill Oreilly and Fox News went on against Dr Tiller. Their coverage alone led to this man's death. Hate journalism has bloody hands and those hands are Bill Oreilly's.

2. Here's how the Christian fundies will spin this:
The central theme is "he deserved it." So they'll pull out the old "He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword." verses.

None will ever be their fault and they will go NOOKULAR at the very suggestion. Watch O'Reilly's head veins explode.

4. That isn't a very good adage for a country that went to war
for no good reason.

11. But you're implying there's consistency in Bible quotations.
Consistency is completely unnecessary. They can hear this one minute, and move right to "America is God's chosen nation" in the next breath. Not a problem.

9. I hope someone pulls
the video of Oreilly going after this guy on TV and broadcasts it. If I was a member of Tiller's family I would name Fox and Oreilly in a lawsuit.

6. I have a much more important co-conspirator
Phill Kline.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phill_Kline

A RW nutter, former Attorney General of Kansas, short-term DA of Johnson County, KS, he carried on a vendetta against Dr. Tiller for many years. He was so deranged about it that he was defeated in his re-election bids for both offices. Everyone here knows about Kline's obsession with Tiller, and his years of whipping up hatred against him came to fruition this morning.

Philll went on O'Reilly's show and admitted turning over those private medical records to Billo.

19. How much you want to bet this hypocritical coward will be (at minimum) on local TV tomorrow
to whine about how he is scared for his life?

Please, keep your eyes and ears open there in Kansas and report back to us tomorrow. Very curious to see how this plays out locally.

And I'm very happy to see that Kansans saw this AG for what he was and voted him out!

7. We need media accountability.
When Ann Coulter suggests that a sitting Supreme Court Justice be served rat poison, she should have her ass thrown in jail.

When Rush Limpballs makes fun of Michael J. Fox's debilitating disease because he's not a right winger, he should suffer the consequences of doing so.

When right wing hosts tell people the liberals are out to take away all their guns, encouraging every freak in the country to stock up on guns and ammo, there should be some accountability forced upon them for stating such lies.

When a gay person has the crap beat out of them because they're gay, or gets killed because the right wing radio hosts tell people that gays are a danger to their marriages and children, the people who made such statements should be held responsible for them.

This shit won't stop until we the people MAKE IT STOP!

How many more need to die?

17. And when I suggested bringing such advocators of violence in for questioning,
I got all kinds of attacked here at DU. Makes me wonder :wtf: is going on.

Free speech does not cover hate talk pundits who advocate violence. Time for them to learn that lesson.

You and I can't advocate killing prominent people, or anybody legally. Why do these winger pundits get to do it?

8. I agree
I didn't want to connect the dots and say something like this, but is true. There are crazies and nutjobs out there that watch Fox, and especially with the stuff Glenn Beck says it scares me.
