Think about that, it's possible. You can post a thread in GD about a video you post in the video forum and provide a link. People who might be interested and able to spare the bandwidth can go for a look. Fail to see what is wrong with that.

8. Blech. I avoid videos.

They take too much time to watch, I don't have that kind of patience. I read fast, videos are slow.

I don't watch television either.

I think videos would detract from my enjoyment of DU. I think it's great to have them all in one place for people who do enjoy them.

9. I'm with you. I watch some of the videos posted here, but not

many.

It is annoying when someone posts a link to a video and no explanation. I might be more likely to watch it if they post a couple of sentences of explanation, including a few words about why they expect the rest of us to take the time to watch it.

However, if I am going to comment on a story or a video, I always click on the link and read the story or watch the video.
