WICHITA, Kansas - An arrest has been made in the slaying of late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, who was gunned down Sunday morning at his church in Wichita, Kan., according to an FBI spokesperson.

Tiller, a prominent advocate for abortion rights wounded by a protester more than a decade ago, was serving as an usher and his wife was in the choir at the time of the shooting, his attorney said.

the shooter also pointed the gun at two bystanders who tried to stop him. This could have been even worse than it was.

The Sedwick Co. Sheriff's dept is on the way here to retrieve him already. They said charges would be filed in the morning and the ID will be released then. The weird part is this- he was actually stopped by a Merriam police officer. Near Gardner. That part hasn't been explained yet.
