The perfect counter to Palin's TLC show
This is in response to something Crim Son posted on Facebook...someone started a group "Stop Sarah Palin's Discovery Channel show" or some shit like that (actually, Discovery Communications has decided to home the show on TLC, not the Discovery Channel, but who's counting?). CS was all "she has a show?" So thanks, CS, you're responsible for this abuse of DU...

So what I'm thinkin' is, Sarah ain't exactly what one would call an angel. Quite the opposite, in fact. So...someone needs to do "The Aftermath of Sarah Palin's Alaska." The lead-in for the show wouldn't be a nice song like most shows do, but rather the scene from Gppd Morning Vietnam where they discussed Richard Nixon...with Nixon changed to Palin and the male gender changed to female everywhere it appears.

Hauk: "He did a very irreverent skit about Sarah Palin."
The General: "I thought it was hilarious."
"General, Sarah Palin is a good woman, and a decent woman..."
"Bullshit! I know Sarah Palin personally. She left a trail of shit behind her that would fertilize the Sinai. I wouldn't buy an apple from the witch and I consider her a good close personal friend!"

And then we do one Palin scandal a week, starting with the Wasilla Sports Complex. Get the interviewer, Gary Lundgren (the guy who actually owned the land the complex is on when they started building it) and Dianne Woodruff (a Wasilla city councilwoman and one of the most persistent thorns in Palin's side) to walk around the complex talking about how nice it is, but how much nicer, and cheaper, it would have been if Palin would have done business the right way.

Naturally, we can't forget to point out that Palin's house, which was built at about the same time as the gym, contains exactly the same millwork as the gym. NO ONE puts commercial windows in a house because they're so expensive and it's not like you can just walk into The Home Depot of Anchorage and pull commercial windows off the shelf (all commercial windows are made to order), but Palin's house has commercial windows in it. The question is, why? It's not like she could have taken advantage of a quantity discount--if you order 101 commercial windows at the "100 or more windows" price and install the extra one in your house, that heavily discounted window is still going to cost you more than a residential window at full price. My opinion is kickbacks, but the alternative (Todd, Sarah and a few of the guys off Todd's salmon boat going over to the construction site in the middle of the night and helping themselves) isn't totally out of the question either.
