So after the apparently MSRNC-owned story about KARZAI's drugging, Morning Jerk did a brief fart on the President, that he shouldn't have done a surge if KARZAI was all we had to rely on, that this had to do with how "the generals have been elevated."
Uh, WHO is responsible for "elevating the generals"?!1 I seem to remember that Shrub, that paragon of personal responsibility and brilliant assessor of necessity for action, skated for seven years by claiming that it was the generals who were calling the shots, not him, and how all these, uh, ROGUE policies were justified and necessary because of the generals, NOT HIM. Yet Shrub was propped up to the skies about being "Commander in Chief" and "a WAR PRESIDENT".
And I seem to remember that, regarding Afghanistan, all of the yakking in the media, whether as "reporting" or as more false punditry, was to repeat the Shrub doctrines of lying, how generals MUST be listened to and especially this magnificent MacCHRYSTAL dude. Something about how the President was "dithering" and all.
And now Morning Jerk sez the President never should have done it after all. So far he hasn't done the saturation carpet bombing on the President the way he has gone for WEEKS at different times of slamming Speaker PELOSI, but it could happen.
He went on to pimp-slap Mika Mouse, saying that if chemical dependence is involved it is about HER. And, oddly, since the two of them have been inseparable on book tours away from their respective families, he signed off the circus by introducing the next pair of co-hosts, "And here are another couple who can't stand each other..."
But back to the main Shrub stink-bomb, more on KARZAI from those much maligned gossip sites, about reports dating back to '05 about pederasty. It's in his CULTURE, after all: I wonder why Ratz doesn't use THIS line.
Gawker says one David BYRNE said KARZAI is a pederast It puts the U.S. via the Shrub regime in a position analogous to Ratz for covering up. It's in the 2nd link below, which is inside the first link.

.... These writer reporter guys at this dinner party exchange amazing stories — that the U.S.-installed president of Afghanistan is a well known pederast (he likes young boys), for example… but everyone is loath to put that in print. I was sort of mystified — why not print it? The explanation seemed to be that it's not unusual over there and it deflects attention from whether or not he's actually doing anything about pulling that country together, which is deemed a more important issue.
Hmmm. I see.
