Dick Cheney's pal, Tiki Barber drops pregnant wife to run off with 23 yr old NBC intern

His wife is pregnant with their 3rd child and he's stepping out and leaving her.

Ex-Giants superstar Tiki Barber has dumped his 8-months-pregnant wife, Ginny, for sexy former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson, sources told The Post last night. The football star-turned-"Today" show-correspondent left his wife of 11 years, Ginny, for the 23-year-old blonde, who also worked at 30 Rock, the sources said. Ginny, who is expecting twins, found out about the relationship late last year, after the run-around running back moved out of their Upper East Side home.

Johnson, a model-thin bombshell, was photographed sitting next to Tiki last month at a Washington, DC, screening of a documentary on Senegal that he hosted for the Travel Channel. Sources believe Johnson also accompanied Tiki to Senegal for the filming late last year, when Ginny was three months pregnant.



The affair is particularly stunning in light of Barber's long-standing disdain for his philandering father.
"I don't give a that the relationship didn't work," he said of his parents' split in a 2004 Post interview. "Not only did he abandon her, I felt like he abandoned us for a lot of our lives. I have a hard time forgiving that."

This is a much more complex cultural phenomenon than could ever be adequately addressed on this forum - too many people prefer to respond in knee-jerk and reflexive ways rather than give it serious thought. I've been around here for awhile now, and have learned not to bother much with deep discussion. When I want to discuss an issue like this in depth, I choose people that aren't carrying so much baggage they can't see the ground in front of them (and no, I'm not talking about you - that's a general statement).

So, sometimes, when the mood hits (as it did this morning) I just want to be sarcastic.

Since it was so successful in revealing why Tiki Barber is attracted to certain women, I'm sure it will help me find out if I've got a shot at this hot new guy that just started work at my office.

I'm sorry, but the average slender, blond, white 23-year-old doesn't become the new main squeeze of a wealthy and successful black man (or white man, for that matter) because he's so deeply in love with her intellect and who she is as a whole, well-rounded, complete and wonderful and loving person. And if you call me a mind reader for saying that, well just call me Carnac the Magnificent.

Edited to add: If she was such a wonderful person to begin with, even if she were deeply in love with this particular man, she would not be encouraging him to dump his pregnant wife for her without so much as a by-your-leave. Yet another conclusion my mad "mind reading skills" provide me with.

You should present a paper on that subject to the NAACP. I'm sure they'd be very receptive.

BTW, since Tiki Barber's wife is Asian, which does your hat tell you he feels he's doing: upgrading or downgrading? Since Tiki only cares about a woman's ethnicity, I'm sure he has them ranked.

The woman he is running off with is extremely attractive, but age catches up with all of us. If she is willing to date men who cheat on their wives like this, she will develop the fear that he will dump her for somebody else. That's my best guess. Sure, maybe not next year or the year after that, but time is relentless. She will develop her doubts in time.
