require a vote by congress, but many of them are on the take and benefit, so it's in their best interest not to vote in things that would really make the country better. As you've said, and I agree, "...might be able to get a toe in the door if we asked that Judges be REQUIRED to use public financing ONLY."
I was stunned by the ruling the Extreme Court made on corporate personhood and contributions. It absolutely stunk and in my book is antithetical to the rights of citizens to contribute and vote, yet another reason why we need (must have) public financing IMO. Even the most clueless in this country would have to see (I think) that we are corporate greed controlled.
I find most things that happen in this country anymore quite bizarre. USA, Inc.
