Who would you cast in the teen movie about Constance McMillien's "fake" prom?

Let me state unequivocally that the movie should clearly depict the town as being full of rednecks and homophobes and Constance as the brave hero all the way.

Let's see here:

Constance: Anna Paquin

Bitchy Popular Girl (composite character): Ashley Benson

Bitchy Popular Girl #2 (composite character): Hayden Panettiere

Redneck Homophobe Parent: Josh Lucas

ACLU lawyer: Topher Grace

and maybe a part somewhere in there for Ted McGinley

and more...
