Why haven't American corporations outsourced their board of directors to China?

Why haven't American corporations outsourced their board of directors to China?
I'm sure there are Chinese business people who will run our corporations for 1/100th the pay that an American CEO makes.

Think of the cost savings of we outsourced CEO/COO level positions.

2. I think the phrase is "put yourself out of a job"
I'm sure if they could find a way to earn an income from someone offshore doing their job it would happen in a minute. The phrase is an old union jargon. The logic was you didn't want to work too fast or too well to put yourself out of work. The fallacy is that if you could do your job so well you should be indispensable as a part of the organization.
