2. My instinct
would be to jump overboard -- being stuck in the middle of the ocean with either loony would be a fate worse than death. Better to die quick and sane, not agonizingly slow and as nutty as a fruitcake.

and pearls mixed with colorful beads and crushed velvet and jangly bracelets and fat hair and I'd say she's been raptured. The other one would be next but only because she shows a measure of better taste in her clothes and accessories.
