If I were a teacher in FL, I'd look for a job in another state.

From the MIAMI HERALD:

"Senate Bill 6 subjects teachers to firing without cause at the end of each school year. Principals will be able to fire teachers at will. If a teacher disagrees with a principal on anything -- anything at all -- that teacher can be terminated, even if her students are successful based on test scores."

This sucks. People such as principals, library directors, and other bosses who are paid by TAXPAYERS should NOT have the power to fire somebody just for the hell of it. The principal, library director, etc., may be a bullying socipathic asshole with zero management skills who fires somebody just for the power rush. And the employee has that on their record, and even if it was none of their fault, totally the asshole's fault, whose side do you think prospective employers will take?

3. Um, not all Floridians are wingnuts...
This state is pretty f*cked thanks to the legacy of Jeb Bush, but don't forget there are progressives in Florida. Not enough, but we are here, alive and kicking.

2. Yes, They Should Leave
People can't live that way. I can only hope this doesn't snowball.
