Wisconsin Senate poll- Feingold v. Thompson
Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson (R), who is “said to be edging closer toward a race against Sen. Russ Feingold, leads the Democratic incumbent in a match-up by 45 percent to 33 percent with 14 percent preferring an independent or third party candidate and 7 percent undecided, according to a St. Norbert College Survey :puke:

2. I don't know this polling group. Are they GOP-leaning? Are they
long-time Thompson groupies?

I can't imagine the Thompson lead being much more than the margin of error, if there is one at all.

4. St Norberts is a small college, they've done statewide polling for along time
There are a very large number of out of work auto and auto-related workers in southern Wisconsin. I suspect that they are splitting the democratic vote and generating that large independent fraction.

The pressure is on Dems to do a lot more about jobs, quickly.

us in Wisconsin and elsewhere.

6. Do most of the repugs think that having a repug senate and congress
would bring back jobs...bush administration is the one that put this country in this condition...
