If only it were as simple as reading back quotes and statements. Bachman, among other things, has suggested that Congress needed to be investigated for anti-American members, that a significant portion of the scientific community didn't believe in evolution, that the Census would lead to a modern day equivalent of Japanese-America internment camps in WWII, that the Obama administration was a "gangster government," and that health care reform would allow 13-year-olds to get abortions done at sex clinics.

Fox News host Chris Wallace didn't ask about any of these.

Seriously, paraphrasing is no excuse for re-interpretation, and anyway that road has many lanes traveling both directions.

It wouldn't hurt to send them all to shrinks to have a mental make up on them either.
