Hey that Brown fella just pissed off the Tealaban again...
Edited on Mon Apr-12-10 07:36 PM by DainBramaged
Four Republican senators — Scott Brown of Massachusetts, George Voinovich of Ohio and Susan Collins and Olympia J. Snowe of Maine — sided with all 56 Democrats who were present to overcome the legislative standoff that had resulted from Mr. Coburn’s objections last month.

“I have pledged to do my best to change the tone in Washington, and my vote to continue the debate rather than obstruct it serves as a step in that direction,” said Mr. Brown.

The Senate on Monday agreed to consider a temporary extension of unemployment benefits after four Republicans joined Democrats in voting to debate the proposal, which has become the focus of an intensifying fight over deficit spending.

On edit;

DAMN four of them Republicons found jesus and voted to extend debate on the benefits......I wonder if the President twisated a few arms?? George Voinovich is one of the truly moderate Pukes. And that screws Tom Coburn, scumbag supreme.

1. He is a New England Repub and knows that, if he wants a chance of being reelected
in 2012, he needs to show some signs of moderation.

But 2012 is far away. It will not be enough.

3. How magnanimous of Snotty Scotty to vote for starting "debate"
on whether millions of unemployed people should stay penniless. I'm sure Massachusetts can't wait to thank him.
