3. Weird... are they going to start wearing their KKKlan garb now?
Heck, it's just another robe... just another hood...

:sarcasm: just in case someone doesn't get it...

5. It wouldn't surprise me at this point
I would be willing to bet there has already been a teaklan gathering somewhere in the US where at least one lunatic showed up in a white robe.

29. I'm sure that's absolutely true...
They have been empowered and emboldened.

Did you ever see the movie, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Toward the end there's a Klan meeting, and then a town meeting, and the empowered and emboldened Klan leader forgot where he was and started talking about the first meeting... I expect life to imitate art... or perhaps just hoping... in either case, it's a possibility.

6. Saying KKK robes are acceptable to them.
That is the "SO WHAT?". Boy do you have your work cut out for you on the racism front. I lived in Leavenworth Kansas, in the early sixties for a couple of years. I have to admit how shocked I was about the racism I confronted there because in California we weren't like that. Of course we were. We weren't as in your face with it as I encountered in Kansas. I really thought after the civil rights movement of the sixties that Kansas may have changed for the better, but apparently, it's still smoldering there under the surface after all these years to arise again.

:)

At first, I stumbled confusedly over "Bath Robes," WTF???, and then "Hood" threw me for a loop, but the "SO WHAT" sealed the deal.

They are saying that the racists are the real victims here, and this petulant child is stamping her glass foot.

16. Same people who think
There is too much government interference.

I wonder what they eat and drink?
Maybe there was lead or mercury in their
HFC embelished foods and drinks.

I don't get the sign or the mental process that produced it.

22. Why do we post so many of these dumb teabagger stories here at DU?
Seems like all we do is report on what this teabagger did,
and what this teabagger said
on a daily basis, multiple times.

I thought the media had taken an unhealthy interest in them,
considering that there really aren't that many of them....
but seems like so many of us are so doing the same.
Why is that something to do?

The media helped grow them,
and we are only helping with
this magnification of these fools.

Bet if I went around with an anti-obama sign down my street,
my story would be posted at DU next day.

What's with that? Just seem odd of us.

24. Many of us are surrounded by these assholes
They want their country back and we are determined they don't ever get it back.

If you don't have to deal with them consider yourself lucky.

We can't have a political event here that they don't invade. We had a thank you party for our Dem rep who is retiring and voted yes on HCR. The teabaggers came to that to call him Judas. They are invading meetings and fundraisers. I am sick to death of their hatred and lunacy. At least here on DU I can find others who are also dealing with the assholes.

to the degree that they wanted to tell you about it.

26. Bath robes?
Maybe after a shower, some folks put on a bath robe.

But a bath robe for other venues? Seems unlikely.
