Sunday night I watched THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK on ETV.

A good adaptation, I thought.

At the end, they told what had happened to each of those in the Secret Annexe.

To me, Peter van Daan (real name van Pels) was the saddest.

Peter van Pels: died in Mauthausen after a death march�On 11 April 1945, Peter was sent to the sick barracks. His exact death date is unknown but the International Red Cross designated it as 2 May 1945. He was 18 years old. Mauthausen was liberated three days later on 5 May 1945 by 23 men from the 11th Armored Division of the U.S. Third Army.

1. Was that the PBS version from England? I saw it Sunday night.

Oy Vey I was crying. There was an excellent interview by I think it was Bob Simon on NPR of the actress who played Anne.
