From the economy, to the health care that just got passed, the easier access Alqueada has to potential attacks, mirandizing terrorists, who are NOT citizens of the US, and the rising debt, even if the conservatives/GOP do take over in November 2010, are they going to be able to fix what has already been done? It looks to be overwhelming. Will we survive another 2yrs. and 8 months of this?

I think it was Arlen Specter's town hall meeting. She tried to portray herself as a poor middle-class woman who had never been involved in politics until now, and she's just mad as hell and won't take it any more. She tried to rip Specter a new one and got full of herself from the applause she received for her remarks. She made the TV circuit and sounded like Porky Pig when she was off-script. She didn't understand any of the issues she was bitching about at the town hall meeting. Turned out she is something of a Republican political animal and not some naive working class mother.

That sounds just like my father. He is so CONCERNED now - not eight years ago. Nope, those were good fucking times.

It also sounds like a conversation I overheard at the grocery store a few months back. Some teabagger-type accosted the produce guy, and was going on and on about how Glen Beck has opened her eyes. How's she's scared to death for our country. Blah, blah, blah.
