Poll question: Do the teabaggers remind of LaRouchites?
Yes. The inane nonsense both carry on their signs is quite comparable.

6. I oppose LaRouche, but they are a different grouping.
They set up their tables and "intervene" everywhere. They go to anti-war protests as well. They oppose the health care reform because they support single payer only. While I vehemently disagree with their opportunist political tactics and leader worship, their program is very different than the right-wing militia types.

8. Those ridiculous Hitler mustache posters have been seen at Teabagger rallies
I'm not saying all the teabaggers are LaDouchies. Some of them are corporate shills, willingly. Some are corporate shills unwillingly, and some are just racist freeper Klansmen idiots. But the Hitler 'stache is a LaDouchie trademark.

4. No. The LaRouche people are very, very different.
They are constantly studying their theories and have a certain worldview rooted in the an eclectic mix of Henry Carey and Rosa Luxemburg. They come out of the New Left, specifically SDS and the Maoist PLP. They are both culturally and politically different than the talk radio mob.

11. Agreed
LaRouchies in this neck of the woods were very confrontational, on a personal level - and they operated a sophisticated credit card fraud operation in northern NH. Tea partiers seem to be back-benchers from town meetings, and the kind that used to be Birchers.

15. No - tea toddlers are batshit, LaRouchies are crazy as shithouse rats.
See the difference?
