6. It's all about the ratings. Our Democratic Senators/Reps and protests don't get good ratings.

The crazy RW extremists, Conservative politicians with their rantings, and teabaggers do, so they get the TV face time.

Iow, the little group behind him was ALL that there ever was, but he was claiming that this is what was left over after most of them had left. Yeah-right.

Counting crowds ain't brain surgery. Especially in famous spaces with years/centuries of being populated, there ought to be a simple square-feet grid with corresponding estimates of dense or scattered or light crowding readily available.
