8. We people don't worry enough.
Let's worry considerably more, and act on the worries; and maybe we'll do just fine in November.

11. This isn't MY first mid term election following a Democratic win.
Perhaps you should explore the history of such elections.

The democrats will continue to control both houses.

There's no fire here. Stop shouting.

14. History is an odd thing
the party in power tends to lose seats in the midterm. A few times control of the house, more rarely the Senate.

Facts are pesky that way.

Yes, we've seen exceptions to this rule... why they are EXCEPTIONS.

Again. We'll be fine.

17. We will see
by the way if we don't lose any seats I will be mighty worried for OTHER reasons.

But once again, history is kind of pesky and not paying attention is part of the problem.

18. Don't take my response so personally
The "stop shouting" wasn't specifically meant for you. It was meant in general, for everyone.

Relax. The world ain't coming to an end. And to be honest, I'm pretty sick and tired of hearing it around here.

20. As long as there is a
right wing, Sarah Palin lovin', gun totting, Faux news watching, Rush listening, ignorant rethug who has voting rights, we need to worry. I thought that knowledge was contagious, but have learned that stupidity is contagious also.
