34. Funny you should mention that...
Last summer, the whole Cinematic Titanic crew showed up at a local sci-fi convention called CONvergence. They had a blast. But in one piece, they lamented that they can't really say "keep circulating the tapes" in reference to their new project. 'cause if people did that, they wouldn't get paid.

I think at that point Frank glowered at the audience and said "Don't circulate the discs. Or we'll find you."
And then Trace piped up and said "We know where you all live...at least for the next few days."

As I said, they had a blast, and it was a joy to see them all together like that. They're all really good at improv humor. Even got a t-shit autographed by them all (Frank, Joel, Trace, and Mary Jo).

in 2004

in that package

Manos
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

((Manos was also released as a single disc, OOP at this time I think))

33. ...yeah, but Mike Nelson wouldn't go anywhere near Keith.
He's a right-winger in the extreme sense. He's about the only right-winger I know that can do comedy.

36. Two separate, but collaborating groups.
One of them is Cinematic Titanic - http://www.cinematictitanic.com/ which has Joel.

The other one is Rifftrax, http://www.rifftrax.com/ featuring Mike.

They're only sort of competing with each other - various performers will perform for both of these crews.

40. i just don't like cinematic titanic
i support them, cause i like most of the people who do it, but the delivery is garbage, imho. I was never a joel fan, but i still like his mst3k eps; i think there are just too many people commenting. It starts to be a bunch of people reading a list of jokes, rather than interacting with the film.

rifftrax started out rough but have actually surpassed a lot of MST3K, especially on the shorts. but, i'm a mike fan, regardless of politics

35. My Favorite Episode Is............
........."Merlin's Shop Of Mystical Wonders."

I don't know why Comedy Central took that show off the air. I used to wake up every Saturday morning and watch it, and I know a lot of other people who did the same thing. That show has millions of fans, yet there's not a single channel out there willing to air it anymore? I don't get that.
