This poll shows Lieutenant Governor Halter within single digits of Lincoln, who is now polling under 40 percent. This is extraordinarily bad for an incumbent. These numbers offer more evidence that Arkansans are ready for a change.

I have no idea if he's much better than Lincoln, but at least he'd start off as a freshman without her kind of power in the Senate. He does look quite a bit better on paper, though.

Can he beat a GOP? Sure, if he campaigns the right way and isn't afraid to call them out on the horrible things they've tried to do over Obama's first two years, sacrificing the country and its people in the name of party loyalty.

He is a much better candidate period!
