LTTE in my local paper

Politics as usual

For years we’ve been rightfully admonished by the news media, politicians and talking heads to recognize that Muslim terrorists do not represent the religion or its followers. We are told that blaming, profiling or tarnishing the image of all Muslims because of the actions of a relatively few fanatics is unfair and inappropriate.

The same news media, politicians and talking heads have been engaged in filling the air waves and printed page with attacks shaming, blaming and vilifying the entire tea party movement and all who oppose the health care bill. Why? A few fanatics have resorted to threatening supporters of President Barack Obama.

I could expand upon the obvious, but why bother? It’s “politics as usual,” with logic as the loser.

3. The tea baggers are being victimized alright
By a republican PR firm that calculated how to easily extract millions of dollars from these rubes with the "Tea Party Express."

5. Bullshit! The media has given them plenty of publicity, but they act like fools.
It's not the camera's fault that the teabaggers come off as threatening. They have been seen showing off their weapons while carrying signs calling for armed revolution etc.

It's not the media's fault that the teabaggers come across as a bunch of fucking loons. They run around with their teabags dangling and their idiotic signs chock full of spelling and grammar errors. Even if they were spelled correctly they still wouldn't make any sense.

Maybe they need to re-think this thing? :nopity:

10. I know, it's hardly been commented on.
You'd think that someone, somewhere would try to capitalize on that.
