This is analogous to the circuitous arguments used by the Republicans nowadays.
Mitch McConnell is just cynical enough to know that he can lie his ass off and more than 50% of the American people are ignorant enough to believe it. It's a testament to our nation's need for better education. Night is day. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
