6. For decades, people warned against lead paint...
on the use side and the manufacturing side... but the U.S. lead industry kept their product in circulation decades beyond its known dangers.

So no, I do not personally eat lead paint but the apartment I live in, the one I raised my daugowerhter in, is layered with decades of lead paint due to the power of the lead paint industry.
