Where is the RW/teabagger anger over the Massey Coal mine deaths?
Where is the Republican outrage and concern for these miners who were murdered for profit?

I have seen and heard nothing from the right concerning this - they must be too busy worrying about Obama's circular symbol and other important matters.

They disgust me more each day.

1. freep world is suspiciously silent about the alleged cover-ups...
their meme is "left wing conspiracy to capitalize on disaster to push climate change legislation." not a THING about massey or blankenship.

3. I was of the opinion murder for profit was a right wing value
I'd be surprised to see any anger from that side over it.

5. blaming the unions, apparently
as Rush did, despite the fact that it was a non-union operation

The rest of the wingnuts are ignoring. As far as Drudge is concerned, it didn't happen. Not a single story since Day 1. Freeperville has little to say on the subject, either.

6. well, they don't want to open their mouths
because they say constantly that non-union corporations are better for the workers...

12. The mistake people make about teabaggers is that
Edited on Thu Apr-15-10 08:19 AM by lunatica
they think somehow they're informed about what's going on in the world and politics and that after carefully going over the facts of the news they somehow choose to believe idiotic made up shit.

They probably haven't even heard of the mining deaths because in order to do that they would have to actually read a newspaper or listen to real news.

I know people like this. They aren't interested in real issues or real news or even politics per se. They have only a very vague idea of what's going on in the world. They have even less of an idea of our history and they say words that others tell them to say without feeling the least little urge to actually find out what the words mean. That's why they can say Obama is a Muslim Marxist Socialist. They think such a thing actually exists. Like George Bush they are disinterested and utterly bored with bookish things.

Really, they're angry because their lives are miserable and they feel that somehow they were cheated out of the American Apple Pie Dream and they're looking to blame something or someone outside themselves. People like Glen Beck, Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich and Dick Armey love using them. An empty mind can be filled with anything. Especially highly emotionally charged hate-filled thoughts because that's what the lizard brain reacts to. It takes an oft used mind to fight the lizard brain in all of us.
