Kind of funny how eight-figure, multi-millionaire talkers represent the "populist" Tea Party movement

April 15, 2010 10:43 am ET by Eric Boehlert

Fact: Glenn Beck made $32 million last year.

Fact. Sarah Palin has made $12 million since July.

Fact. Rush Limbaugh makes $28 million each year.

Combined, the three Tea Party talkers earned $72 million in the last year.

Fact: Half of all Tea Party supporters make $50,000, or less.

2. But didn't Ed or Keith have a segment on last night about how the Teabaggers

are better educated and have higher incomes than the general population....and they are....white. Seems to me that this is an elitist party. The "I got mine and now way are you gonna get yours as long as I breathe" party.
