I don't really care what the teabaggers want
Articles in this morning's NYT addressing a poll about the teabaggers and what they want, who they are, etc.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I don't give a damn what they want. Sure, it's a free country and all that, but they lost their right to bitch and moan when they let 8 years of the Bush administration bring this country to near ruin. They let their good 'ol boy, W, declare war for no good reason on two sovereign nations. Granted, nations that you wouldn't want to invite over for dinner, but sovereign nonetheless. No defined mission, no means to pay for it.

They let their buddy, squander a surplus, eliminate just about all government regulation and bring this nation to its knees. In those 8 years we lost millions of manufacturing and service industry jobs, i.e., jobs all over the map - gone.

They are oblivious that the policies enacted over the past 15 months will benefit them in the short-term and the long-term. They are willfully ignorant of the role of government generally and the positive impact of government services on their lives.

Of course, the list goes on, and others have been more eloquent than I, but to see these morons given front-page coverage is a travesty.

2. The tea baggers are so typical.
Save the babies, but once they're born don't provide them with an education, health care, or anything else. They just want them to grow up so they can go be killed in one of the wars they love so much.

Hands off their Medicare, but no one else is entitled to government-run health care.

Wars, defense contracts, and the like are all good for the country.

Job growth, fair taxation, and equality are all bad for the country.

All of them stood by with their mouths shut while Bush and his cronies ran this country right into the ground. The conservatives FAILED to protect the country on 9/11. How that somehow makes us safer under their governance escapes all but the most idiotic.

I don't care what the tea baggers want, either. Anyone who would pay money to see that idiot opportunist liar Sarah Palin speak is too stupid to bother with. The woman is using them to get what she wants, she could honestly care less about anyone else but herself. She just wants their money and they are too stupid to figure it out. :eyes:

The tea baggers do not deserve the media coverage they receive. They are a joke. (And a bad one at that!)
