up a card table on the sidewalk near the post office festooned with three signs. The first said, "Impeach Obama for Destroying NASA." The second said, "Obama is a commie," while the third, depicting Obama as Hitler, said "Defeat Obamacare." How sad that a senior citizen, who no doubt collects Social Security and has his medical expenses paid by the government, would be so brainwashed that he feels the need to advertise his ignorance this way.

He's certainly not alone, though. Yesterday I saw an SUV with a Soviet-style hammer and sickle and the words "America under Obama."

I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of Rush, Hannity, Beck, Palin, Bachmann and all the other rw nutjobs who perpetuate these myths and stir up gullible people. Rush and all the others know full well that Obama is a firmly-in-the-middle centrist who, if anything, has done too much to try and cozy up to the GOP. Look where it's gotten him - the object of ridicule and vilification.

I just saw a segment on Countdown featuring a poll that found that "tea party" protesters were older, smarter, better educated and wealthier than Americans on average.

So the owner of this car must be far too intelligent (and rich) to drive around in a piece of shit like this and decorate it with signs that sort of disprove what that poll says.
