1. What I've seen that's a little alarming

are mass market ads for gold coins, aimed at dumb people and people who don't pay attention to what other investments have been doing.

That bubble is going to pop. I don't know how soon, but once they start pushing it at the working class, it's pretty much over and they're just looking for new suckers so the big money can get out while the getting is good.
