WNDU anchor arrested
A WNDU-TV anchor was arrested early Thursday morning after police were called to a domestic dispute at a Mishawaka home.

Erin Logan, who has worked for WNDU since 2007, was arrested in the 5500 block of Zappia Drive after police were called to the home just before 2:30 a.m. She has been accused of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

In a statement issued Thursday, WNDU management said Logan was fired from the station because of the incident.

According to police reports, police were called to the home after a heated argument between Logan and Christopher Zorich, the former Notre Dame and National Football League football player who now works as the manager of student welfare and development for Notre Dame.

5. Morals Clause In Her Contract...
Many of these bobbleheads have clauses in their contracts against creating any negative publicity for the station...aka getting faced, making a scene at your boyfriend's house (who also happens to be a local sports hero in the land of Touchdown Jesus), then making a bigger scene in front of police. Not quite the image the station expects from a "performer".

Some of this says she wasn't really a big part of the station's operation...and my bets are she'll find another gig in another town.

6. I was just about to post something similar. If one of the "faces" of the station
does something like this they consider it an embarrassment to the station. They are considered representatives of the station even when they're not working. Anchors normally get paid pretty well enough not to do something stupid and get arrested.

2. Logan has not been formally charged in the incident.

Logan has not been formally charged in the incident.

<snip>

"This is civil in nature, not criminal," he said. "I am confident after a thorough investigation by the prosecutor's office, they will agree that no charges should be filed."

4. Sad when private matters get public attention.
I hope they can work things out for the best.
