does anyone notice something wrong about the Blackwater indictment

Company officials, including both Jackson and Howell, downplayed the raid during the interview. Jackson said some of the 16 uniformed officers who came to serve the warrant were embarrassed by the event and said agents had to stop at Blackwater's front gate to get passes to come onto the company's sprawling campus in northeastern North Carolina.

"As a hypothetical, one would think that, if you were going on a raid, you'd take your Kevlar and your weapon," Howell said to laughter from other executives."

Ummm......like the law has to ask Blackwater's permission to serve a warrant? I mean, maybe its a smart thing not to up the ante with a very violent organization that's more heavily armed than yourself. But doesn't that kinda sound like the organization is beyond control?

What if the government decided to shut Blackwater down? Would it go peacefully?

Could we trust the local law officials to serve the warrant or are they in bed with Blackwater? Blackwater trains many police forces within the country and there are a lot of ties from previous lives between Blackwater and law enforcement/National Guard.

You know, it's kinda weird to hear Blackwater laugh at an attempt to serve a warrant.

Somehow I keep thinking of the Praetorian Guard in "I, Claudius."

2. The U.S. military has taken its orders from Blackwater for so long now...
...that this action against them seems foreign to the officers? Just guessing.
