Schieffer is thrilled, no, GIDDY over CBS's new hires: Sen Treasure Trail's dtr *&* Kathleen PARKER!

He used the word "thuderbolt" multiple times in his intro to hosting Senator Treasure Trail and appeared to be reenacting the scene where the young Judy GARLAND writes a fan/love letter to Clark GABLE. And after the slop drenched interview of "tough" (not really) questions, Bobby got his reward, where Senator TT said he was HONORED to be there with him, where he never thought he would be.

Oh, those tough questions were so tough they just sneaked up on you, like, gently gently sidling into Sen TT's relationship with the Tea Baggers, like, he had a "good excuse" (the Senate was in session, doncherknow) for not being at the Boston 'bagger fest, but, why, he wasn't even at the 'bagger rallies in the D.C. area, right close to where the Senate was in session!1 It took some circling of the old questions for Bob to PIN THAT MAGNIFICENT BOD---uh, Bob meant, to get TT to stop beating around the SHRUB---like, IS he a 'bagger or ISN'T he?!1

Bob wanted and needed to know: At long last, Senator Treasure Trail, do you TEA BAG OR NOT?!1

TT found a way out, said that he sees 'baggers as "concerned citizens," so in that sense, we are ALL Spartacus!1

So, fully satisfied and with an afterglow, Bob made the opportunity to congratulate Senator Treasure Trail on his daughter's just having been hired on CBS's morning show.

And then, ON to the next new hire, Kathleen PARKER, whom Bob said was stunningly BOTH a wingnut ("Conservative") AND a Pulitzer winner!1 Her riposte was that George WILL said that being a wingnut does not HAVE to mean (something like) jumping into the dark side, or falling into the abyss, or throwing up into a volcano, or something like that.

Oh, he and PARKER got their digs in at all those internet nasty, anonymous people, just saying and saying those nasty things, and SO FAST!1 "You just don't know where these things are coming from!1"

But Bob was clearly harking back to his earlier excitement and said that one of PARKER's Pulitzer sample was, astonishingly, a column ABOUT SENATOR TREASURE TRAIL!1 So THAT's why she won the prize!1 So, of course, Bob's burning question was what did she think of TT, or iow, did she validate, as she must, his complete state of HOT WINGNUT LUERVE---uh, he meant, fascination with TT.

She said that, yes, Bob is perfectly correct to be hyp-mo-tized by TT because TT is "what you SEE is what you get!1" Iow, Bob and Kathleen have both SEEN a lot and a lot of Senator Treasure Trail (cough). Yaas, and Cosmo's profiles are every bit as profound as Vanity Fair's sixteen pagers of WORDS!1
